Thursday, October 19th , 2017

Location: Molloy College, Farmingdale Room 107

We know how difficult it is to have productive conversations with others on employment matters, policies and HR protocols. We hear ‘we’re not on the same page’ because people tend to talk ‘at’ vs. ‘with people’. Learn how to eliminate frustrating conversations to make us more effective ‘managers of people’™. Learn the strategy of how to create a motivated work environment. Learn how to adapt the Golden Rule: ‘Treating others the way you wish to be treated’, to connect better with others. Learn how to have more positive communication by understanding behavioral styles to enhance communication, drive productivity and profitability using DiSC.

Attendees will  learn the strategy behind how to create a work environment in which individuals are motivated to work better, more creatively and more productively. • Participants learn how to relate to and have more positive, proactive communication with others by understanding behavioral styles and learn how to adapt their style to the styles of others

 • Participants understand why the Golden Rule of: ‘Treating others the way you wish to be treated’, is problematic and how to adapt it to connect better with others.
